CODE OF ETHICS

📝 CODE OF ETHICS

of the Association “Balkan Cultural and Economic Union” (BCEU)


I. General Principles

1. Honesty and Transparency
All members, partners, and representatives of the Association act with integrity, responsibility, and accountability in the performance of their functions.

2. Respect and Equality
Relations within the Association are based on respect for the individual, cultural diversity, and equality of all participants – without discrimination of any kind.

3. Social Responsibility
The activities of the Association shall contribute to the public good, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue within the Balkan region and beyond.


II. Conduct and Commitment

4. Professionalism and Ethics
Every representative commits to upholding high professional and ethical standards, avoiding actions that may undermine the reputation of the Association.

5. Conflict of Interest
Members must declare and avoid involvement in activities where personal or corporate interests may conflict with the mission and objectives of the Association.

6. Political and Religious Neutrality
The Association does not tolerate the use of its structure for political, religious, or commercial campaigns that could harm its impartiality and dialogical character.


III. Partnerships and Representation

7. Trade House and Partners
Partner organizations (including the Trade House – AG Space Ltd.) are obliged to observe the same ethical principles and not compromise the public name of the Association.

8. Use of the Name and Logo
The use of the name, logo, and other elements of the Association’s identity by third parties is possible only with explicit written permission.

9. Ambassadors of Goodwill

  • ● Ambassadors of Goodwill of the BCEU are obliged to adhere to the highest ethical standards in their representation, guided by the principles of honesty, respect, and social responsibility.
  • ● They may not use their title for personal political, religious, or corporate purposes incompatible with the mission of the Union.
  • ● When participating in trade initiatives through the Balkan Trade House “AG Space” Ltd., Ambassadors act with transparency, confidentiality, and in the interest of the Union.
  • ● Relations among Ambassadors are based on collegiality, mutual support, and respect, and any behavior that undermines the reputation of the BCEU is unacceptable.


IV. Violations and Sanctions

10. Reporting and Review
The Association encourages open communication and accepts reports of violations of the Code of Ethics, which are subject to review by the Ethics Council or the Governing Body.

11. Consequences of Violations

  • ● issue a written warning;
  • ● terminate a partnership or membership;
  • ● notify competent institutions if necessary.


V. Final Provisions

12. Adoption and Update
This Code of Ethics is adopted by the General Assembly and is subject to periodic updates if necessary.

13. Binding Force
All members and partners of the Association are deemed to be familiar with and agree to the provisions of this Code of Ethics from the moment of their accession or partnership.
